Case Study:
Xtend Barre to Pure Barre

Xtend Barre in Livingston, NJ was going out of business. As an Xponential Fitness franchisee we saw an opportunity to rebrand this studio without construction costs. An opportunity to reuse most of the space and rebrand it as Pure Barre was clear. The space required no construction, saving about $150k-$200k of buildout costs for a raw space project. Renovations went under way for the following items:

  • Pure Barre carpet installed in studio

  • Painting to brand standard

  • New front desk and P logo

  • New retail area slat walls

  • New 4-way retail unit in the front

  • Removal of in-studio cabinetry and adding more mirror space

  • Better utilization of the lounge area

  • New awning with Pure Barre logo

  • Cleaning and removal of Xtend branding

The project was completed in a record 45 days. This includes furnitures, fixtures, and equipment, hiring of a manager and sales associates, hiring and training 7 new instructors, and retail inventory.
